Smoobee Magic No Cry Hairbrush Review & Giveaway – ending 8/11

As a little girl I had this obsession with Strawberry Shortcake shampoo. I remember thinking my life would be fantastic if I could just convince my mom to buy me some of it. One glorious day she bought me a travel sized bottle of it. I’m pretty sure I had died and gone to heaven right there in the shampoo isle. The euphoria was short lived though.

After showering and washing my hair with the Strawberry Shortcake shampoo my mom began to brush my hair out as she always did. Brushing my hair was never a plesant time but this time was 100 times worst than it ever had been. The shampoo had made my hair so full of tangles that my mom could barely get a brush through it. I was crying and moving around, trying to get away from her.

My mom became so frustrated that she whacked my head with the brush to get me to hold still. I don’t remember if whacking my head with the brush worked to get me to hold still or not, but it must have made an impression on me as I still remember it today! Sorry for tattling on you, Mom!

Recently, I became aware of a genius invention called the Smoobee Magic No Cry Brush. I was very interested in a brush that made claims to tear-free hair brushing, as I’m pretty sure my rebellious teen years were a result of that head whack. Even though its too late for me, perhaps some other young lady will save herself from the mistakes I made as a youth, all as a result of the head whack.

I tried the Smoobee Brush for the first time one morning after rolling out of bed looking like Medusa. I seriously thought kittens had been playing in my hair while I slept; it was bad. What a perfect opportunity to put the Smoobee to the test.

First thoughts: What an adorable brush! Even though this brush was designed for children, adults (like me) can also enjoy it. I like the thick wooden handle – makes me feel like this is a brush made to last. My Smoobee is purple (which I love) but they also come in pink and turquoise.

The Smoobee in action: I brushed the heck out of my hair with this thing! I was expecting to wince a time or two during the brushing process but it was nearly pain free! The Smoobee is designed with all these bristles that do no catch on or pull your hair. In addition to making my hair tangle free, the brushing process felt great on my scalp.

Smoobee’s website has a page with testimonials of other happy brush owners, so if you don’t take my word for it, check out what they have to say.

One more thing! Smoobee’s website has a fantastic idea for a party. Are you sitting down and completely ready to hear something awesome? Smoobee recommends a brush bedazzling party for your little girl! They sell these sheets of adorable little gems that you can personalize your Smoobee with. Supplying little girls with these and preventing any other head whacks could potentially make you a hero.

Today’s MY day though and I’m playing hero! One little girl will be saved from having her locks yanked out and potentially getting whacked in the head with a brush. Enter below to win your very own Smoobee!
