Try The World’s Paris Box Review & Giveaway

You all know how I love my subscription boxes. In fact, once you find a few that you really like it can become an addiction! I love the unique surprises that arrive at my door from boxes I’ve subscribed to. Recently, I got to try a new box from Try The World and I’m enjoying a snack from it as I write this review.

Try The World sent me their Paris Box to review and I was delighted to see all the international goodies in one box. I must mention that I was incredibly impressed with the presentation of this box. It was packed with the utmost care and is something I’d be proud to send anyone as a gift.

Try The World Paris Box Review

Packed perfectly inside the box was the following items:

1. Tea blends by Le Palais des Thés
2. Salted butter caramels by Le Petit Saunier
3. Chabert & Guillot nougat bars
4. Artisanal natural jams by Alain Milliat
5. Sel de Guérande flower of salt (fleur de sel) from Brittany
6. Traditional hot cocoa by Les Confitures à L’Ancienne
7. Chestnut cream by Clement Faugier

Every item was a new experience for my husband and myself. We didn’t recognize any of the items as things we can purchase here in the United States. We were curious and excited to try the items out. Each item had an information card that described the item and gave some interesting fact about it, such as where it originated from and uses for it.

Try The World BoxThe mini jams and salted caramels were extra delicious and we finished them off within a few days. Other things, like the Sel de Guérande flower of salt (fleur de sel) from Brittany hasn’t been used yet because I’m not 100% sure what to do with it or how to use box
Every 2 months a new box from a different area in the world is shipped. A Tokyo box will be shipped at the end of December so if you’re interested its best to get your order in now. Each box costs $45 and you can order just one box or have a recurring subscription and cancel at any time. I consider the Try The World more of a luxury item that would be a perfect gift (for anyone!) and for lots of occasions that include weddings and holidays.

Heather -Actually, you can purchase the hot chocolate in the US. I’m not sure if Neiman Marcus still carries that brand, but they used to a few years ago. The trytheworld subscription boxes would make great gifts.

It’s nice that you can discover different products used from around the world and it varies every shipment! Thanks!

Being able to try new products and foods from different countries is really neat! I think that is one of the things that appeals most to me. Thank you for this lovely giveaway. Good luck to all!

I really like the gift worthy quality of the packaging. I like how the samples aren’t teensy, and all the products look lovely. As far as the Fleur del sel, it’s basically just really high quality salt. Just use it in place of regular old salt. I like to use Okinawan salt, which I get through a friend. Once you try exotic salts, you’ll never go back to Morton. I’ve become a salt snob.

  7. Susan Broughton says

I really like the idea of trying things from a different country. You may not be able to travel there but by trying items from that country it will be the next best thing!

  8. Jennifer T. says

I love that the box includes items that you likely can’t buy in the United States. What a great way to try a bit of the world.

  9. Ashley C says

I love how the part of the world changes but each box includes such a great assortment of items to represent the part of the world.

Even if I don’t win, I think I’ll try this out. It would make a great ‘date night’ at home with my hubby. We have 3 kids and have only been out once without them this whole year, we plan at home dates, movies, meal etc, I think this box would give us something to talk about and we’d be experiencing new things together! I’m excited about this!!
